Hiei's Horse: Wasuremashita

This is another piece of Horse mix with Anime art that I have made. These art pieces are taking me a while to make, because I am not very good at drawing at all. Coloring, please... I can hardly draw, let alone color.
This work was made completely by me. I didn't even use a reference, I only glanced at a few pictures of Hiei's face just because I couldn't get his eyes perfect, but hopefully, I got it right.
If you don't know, this is Hiei from the Series Yu Yu Hakusho.
The Horse is my OC and I have named her (More like Hiei has named her) "Wasuremashita".
This name is supposed to mean "Forgotten" In Japanese. (If I am wrong, please let me know. I am not a native speaker, and I just translated it from google)

(I know that Hiei is stiff in his figure, but I took horseback riding lessons, and "stiffness is next to godliness", is what my instructor always said. Shoulders back and spine straight, is the proper way to ride a horse. I remember always getting yelled at during lessons... "Shoulders back! Keep yourself stiff!" I was contemplating on whether or not to make his position look bent over with the spine a bit arched, or the proper position in riding english. I decided on the first because even in the anime, whenever Hiei runs around and you manage to catch him in a screenshot during his speedy runs, his spine is always straight, except when landing. When riding, you must always keep straight)

There is a small story behind this picture and how Hiei and Wasuremashita had met.
(Could contain spoilers if you had missed the episode where Hiei nearly died from fighting in Mukuro's Territory)

Shortly after being abandoned by the bandits he had called family, Hiei had started out on his own once again. Fighting randomly, just to get stronger and wondering aimlessly. No one wanted him around.
Resting against a tree, a small neigh made red eyes dart over to a herd of wild demon equines. Obviously, they were all of Fire decent, due to the flames that sprouted at their ankles. Most of the animals were of the color black, and their bright red flames lit the area around them and wherever they went.
A Mare had just given birth to a thin-legged filly, however, this Equine was different than the others.
The Fires had not yet sprouted on her tiny legs, but her color was definitely different. She was a deep shade of red, with a dark colored mane and tail. Whenever the light would touch her, the highlights of blood red would shine brightly in her hair.
For amusement, Hiei merely watched as the young newborn stumbled countless times to attempt to stand on its own. Within about 15 minutes, she finally managed to stay standing, shakily steady on her tiny hooves. The moment she felt secure, a bright, but dark light emitted from her. Black flames, completely opposite from the bright red that came from her herd, sprouted from her ankles. She whinnied happily, padding her way to her mother, proud of her accomplishment of standing and releasing her flames for the world to see.
However, a large black stallion, scars covering his body, stood angrily in front of the newly born filly. Hiei sighed, all to familiar with the scene that was about to unfold.
Trying her hardest, the tiny filly tried to walk around the much larger male, only to get shoved by a giant hoof, making her tumble to the ground with a cry. With a loud snort, the stallion neighed calling to his herd. The ground shook as all of the other black horses galloped away, leaving the tiny newborn struggling to stand once again to try and catch up with her mother.
Hiei stood, when the filly stumbled for the fifth time and decided to stay down, looking almost longingly at the distance where her herd galloped off.
"Hn..." The Imiko sighed, as he made his way to the child that was left behind, much like himself.
Stopping about a yard away from the foal, he knelt down behind her. With a click of his tongue, perky ears flew back to the source, as she immediately started to flail. Instinct controlling her movements to try and get away from the unknown creature that suddenly approached her. She couldn't stand, but tried, only stumbling about two feet before stopping, attempting to keep still. Maybe this will deter the creature from her.
"Wasuremashita." The newborn flinched, her ears flicking from side to side to understand what the creature had said to her. Was it a threat?
"That will be your name. Forgotten, just like me." Hiei had said, before standing and walking away. "If you want to follow, I won't stop you. Just don't expect me to protect you..."
Wasuremashita whinnied after the creature leaving her side. He was of no threat, but out of desperation for not being alone, she stumbled to her feet, black flames burning brightly, and followed after the strange creature that had named her.

Wasuremashita is a sensitive demonic Equine. She hates the feeling of bits, and leather touching her at all, preferring the feeling of bareback riding. The only one that she allowed to ride her, however, was the same creature that had saved her, Hiei. Wasuremashita is very protective of the Imiko, just as Hiei was of her when she was young. The Jagan master had said that he wouldn't protect her, but even he broke his promise, creating a bond between them that will never be broken.
Wasuremashita's Height is 14.2 Hands. (58 inches from front hoof to top of the Wither) It may seem unrealistic, but this steed is actually a pony. She is basically the same height as Hiei (Without his hair), however, she does not like to be referred as such. When Hiei is riding on her back, she keeps her head held up high. This shows that her attention is instantly focused on Hiei and her surroundings.
In the human world, Horses are known for being herbivores. However, in the demon world, most of the Equines are Carnivores. This goes for the same as Wasuremashita. She has very sharp teeth, as shown, on both sides of her face a single sharp tooth protrudes from her lips. Her favorite food, strangely, is sugar cubes. Although, she does love any kind of meat, but doesn't like greens or fruits. However, if Hiei feeds it to her, then she will gladly eat it.
While riding, any slight tilt of his body, Hiei can easily control his mare with the use of his upper-body and legs, no hands needed. She is specially trained in the art of Paladin riding, moving her body with her riders movements. Beautifully molding herself with the rider controlling her, when fighting they are both a pair to be feared. She is just as quick, if not, faster than Hiei, and everywhere her hooves touch she has the ability to burn if she so chooses. Along with the swordsman on her back, they are formidable.
